I decided to do it! I started this morning, and after re-reading my old entries I think it really helped when I was doing my daily posts, so that's what I'm going to do again. I know they are boring and repetitive, but they're helpful for me.
9:00 - Hot chocolate (still liking this one, I need to just buy a case of this stuff)
11:00 - Smore's bar (this used to be my favorite bar, but today it was so dry and awful. Maybe because all of my meals are pretty old at this point)
12:30 - Chipotle carnitas salad with fajita veggies (I'm so glad I had them put in the fajita veggies. They add a really nice sweetness that makes me not even miss having a dressing. I also had them do extra meat.)
3:00 - Cream of Chicken Soup (blah!)
6:00 - Brownie (a little on the bitter side, but the texture was very nice)
10:00 - Cinnamon Roll bar
Exercise - Walked to the park during lunch. It's about 3/4 of a mile round trip.
I gave myself a reward for starting too, which was going out and getting my hair highlighted. I've been needing to get it redone to cover up my gray, but feeling like I didn't have time or didn't deserve it since I feel so awful about how I look. It makes me feel a little prettier and boosts my spirit a little. I deserve to have nice hair and a healthy body... I keep telling myself that.
It's a little after 3 right now, and I'm feeling very hungry even though my salad was huge. I'm going to have a cream of chicken soup and hope for the best. I also took 2 Excedrin, hoping to stave off the carb withdrawal headache I know is lurking.
One thing I'm looking forward to is trying out the new Medifast brownies. I got a box last time I restarted and never tried it, but I brought a mix in to work with me, so maybe I'll have that after I choke down the soup. :) I'm not expecting it will be as good as my personal recipe for brownies, but I'm hoping it'll be better than just okay.
I noticed on the site they have a few new options now, including ice cream and pancakes. I'm intrigued, but really feel I need to get through more of what I have on hand before I start buying more stuff. Also, I would probably not like them early in the diet because my taste buds are rejecting all of the food right now. Maybe in a month I'd find them delicious. Not likely though! :)
Now it's 11:30 and I'm about to turn in for the night. Happy to say that although I'm hungry I haven't had a headache today!
