Day 9

Morning Scale Report: No change.

Ugh. But not unexpected considering my weekend.

9:30 - hot chocolate
12:30 - Rio Grande salad with steak
4:30 - hot chocolate
6:30 - hot chocolate
9:30 - caramel crunch bar (yum)

I really need to get my new food. I am getting pretty tired of drinking so much hot chocolate.

Food confessions: I had another day of making bad food choices. My delicious salad came with warm tortillas and tortilla chips. I crunched up some chips and sprinkled them on the salad and ate a whole (delicious) tortilla. I also had a couple of bites of the lemon bars someone left in the break room. I need to have a good rest of the night, but all I have to look forward to are 3 more hot chocolates.

I think I am much better at making good food choices when I can make the choice ahead of time instead of doing it on the spot. If I'd known the salad would be packaged with the chips and tortillas I would have requested they not put them in the bag.

I just need to make up my mind to stick strictly to the diet instead of justifying a little bit of cheating here and there.

I think your last statement says it all "I just need to make up my mind to stick strictly ..."

Every taste and cheat will effect your speed of weight loss, this is true. Medifast works faster if you stick to it. But give yourself some slack and learn how food triggers your choices.

Not sure why you are doing so much hot chocolate when there are so many choices that will help you stick with the program over time. I normally help people select a variety to make sure they change it up and don't get bored.

All that said Medifast will help you get to a point where you aren't hungry and you can follow the diet more easily if you let it. When you fudge, learn from it and get back on program and you will see the success. Along with that forgive yourself and keep going!

If you need some help feel free to email with your questions.
