Day 6

Morning Scale Report: I think my mother-in-law's scale was programmed by the people on the Biggest Loser TV show. I stepped on it about 10 times and each time my weight was different, within a 25 lb range!

10:15 - hot chocolate (a favorite)
12:30 - cream of tomato soup (pretty gross)

Last night went better than I thought. I had 3 small bites of a hot dog and 1 piece of popcorn. Not a total success, but I'm satisfied with it. I was afraid that when faced with temptation I'd totally go nuts. It turned out that the food didn't look that appetizing to me. I was hungry, but I didn't feel I had to eat tons to have a good time, or that I was being deprived. I was too concerned about canceling the progress I've worked so hard for.

The biggest problem was I couldn't work in a last meal last night. I was so tired when we got here I went straight to bed.

Day 6 lunch-time: I'm not seeing anything to really get excited about for my lean and green meal today, so I will probably go out and see what I can find. I think we'll be having pizza/cheesesteaks tonight, but I'm not too worried any more. After last night I'm pretty sure I can limit myself to one or two bites, and I'm fine with that.
